Members of the Sto Rox School District Vikings football team attended a college recruiting visit to the Pennsylvania State University in June through a scholarship provided by the MRCDC.
Coach LaRoi Johnson escorted the players during the visit and has been working to provide similar trips to a variety of schools including Divisions I, II, III and junior colleges, too.
During these trips, the students are able to meet with the many schools in attendance and also with guidance counselors there who stress the importance of high school academics.
